Profile Identity Policy

In our commitment to build trusted and secure marketplace, Almaverse requires that all Members establish and maintain a profile true to their real identity. To start selling on this site, you must provide true, accurate and complete information as prompted by the registration form and update this information to maintain its truthfulness, accuracy, and completeness. Below are more details regarding our policies for Member profiles.

Who can establish a Seller account on Almaverse?

Sellers on Almaverse must be a legal entity or a business individual 18 years or older.  Individual sellers must be able to form legally binding contracts.

What identity information must be supplied to set up an account?

The following rules apply to all Sellers.  All provided information must be accurate, and Almaverse reserves the right to ask for additional details to verify the account.

  • You must use your own legal name.
  • You must use your own contact information.
  • Sellers on Almaverse may only have a total of one Seller account and one Client account, without express written permission from Almaverse.
  • Sellers cannot use Almaverse name in the profile name or gallery name (ex:  Almaverse_XYZ_meditations).

What is the thumbnail policy for Sellers?

Sellers may post a thumbnail image on the Site to accompany their profile. All thumbnails must follow these common guidelines:

  • You must own the image or have a license to use the image.
  • The image must be professional.
  • Uploaded image must be .jpg, .jpeg or .gif format. (Animated .gif files are not allowed.)
  • The thumbnail may be left blank.

Can Seller accounts be shared?

Seller expects that the Individual or Business identified in the account will be the one who utilizes the account.

  • Individual accounts cannot be shared between users
  • Almaverse accounts cannot be transferred or sold to other users
  • Team Members cannot share or transfer log-in credentials

What content cannot be included in the Almaverse account profile?

Seller profile cannot contain any of the following:

  • Any contact details (ex: non-Almaverse website URL, email address) outside of the designated areas
  • Offers to receive payments outside of the Almaverse Billing & Payment System
  • Offers to provide free services
  • Offers to provide services that are against the Terms of Service of Almaverse
  • Any text that is copied from another Member’s profile
  • Any work sample to which the Almaverse does not have legal rights or ownership
  • Reference to another Seller’s name or logo in a way that misleads or falsely implies a relationship with that Sellers

Can Almaverse require that I provide additional information to verify my information?

Yes, Almaverse reserves the right to ask for verification details at any time. If you are unable to provide the appropriate verification information, your account can be subject to suspension and/or termination.
